9/24/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHPA arrived to the home of Ms. Brown. Upon arrival to the home, QMHPA inquired about her day. She verbalized to QMHPA that she was in a bad mood because her sister and her got into an argument and she donât want to be at the home anymore. QMHPA informed Ms. Brown that the purpose of todayâs session was to focus on Ms. Brownâs social skills and interactions with others being as though she provided QMHPA with the information that she upon arrival to the home. Ms. Brown did not present any symptoms of S/I or H/I at the time of the session. QMHPA began session by exploring with Ms. Brown her current emotional state. QMHPA explored with Ms. Brown her current interactions with her sister and how it was impacting her housing. QMHPA explored with Ms. Brown her views towards sharing her home (the home she reside with her dad and she feels as though her sister has intervened into her space in the home as well). QMHPA encouraged Ms. Brown to recognize what her goals were for her and her family and to focus on those goals when she feels unable to demonstrate appropriate social skills. QMHPA explored with Ms. Brown the impact of her anger on her relationships with others and encouraged Ms. Brown to refrain from engaging in physical or verbal altercations with others. Ms. Brown actively participated throughout the session. While exploring with Ms. Brown her current emotional state, Ms. Brown stated that she was upset because her sister was continuing to irritate her about minor things in the home. Ms. Brown stated that she was not thrilled about being her sister coming to stay with them for a little while, but she knows that her dad is not going to allow her to be homeless. Ms. Brown stated that she did not want to jeopardize her placement and was hopeful that she would get along with others or remain isolated. While exploring Ms. Brownâs anger, Ms. Brown stated that she was very angry due to her current situation and that she often questions why she is experiencing all of these negative events in her life. Ms. Brown stated that she would attempt to refrain from physical and verbal aggression with others and focus on just maintaining her overall mental health because she knows that she will go from 1 to 10 anytime.
